Credits

Credits are the Human currency. They are commonly referred to as 'creds'. They are earned for every hit you land on an Alien, but you will not receive any of them before the Alien has died. Credits can be spent for weapons and upgrades at the Armoury. A player can possess a maximum of 2000 Credits at a time.

If you are playing on a server that does have the Donate or the Share feature, you should give Credits to your teammates if you have too many. Otherwise, valuable "energy" that your team could use is lost, because every Credit that you earn beyond the 2000 Credits you might already have is just lost forever.
