The Battery Pack increases the maximum ammo capacity of energy weapons by 50%. It may not be used in conjunction with the Jet Pack or Battle Suit.
In very few maps, there are ammo recharge locations, and a bug in Tremulous 1.1.0 causes the owner of a Battery Pack to lose ammo instead of getting more because the software does not take the maximum value caused by the Battery Pack but instead the normal maximum value.
